We would strongly recommend the Riverside Inn at Pennal. This is owned by Glyn, who used to manage the Penhelig Arms in Aberdovey, and his wife, Corina. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the food is really excellent. It is also very popular so it is wise to make a reservation in advance. www.riversidehotel-pannal.co.uk

We can also recommend the Penhelig arms in Aberdyfi. www.penheligarms.com

Also highly recommended is The Britannia Coaching Inn in Aberdyfi.
